:Three students including a 7 year old boy, a 15 year old girl and a 16 year old boy died on spot and 4 persons including the driver were injured besides a 17 year old boy was missing in Chenab when a dumper tipper fell in Chenab after rolling down about 100 mt from the Karol-Kumet link road here today afternoon.
A girl Pooja Devi, was referred to GMC,Ramban from the Ramban District Hospital.
All victims were residents of Thanola,Karol of Ramban tehsil.The students were returning from school and boarded the tipper.
Rescue operation by Ramban QRT,police and locals was carried out and the victims were taken to District Hospital,Ramban.
Reportedly,there were 8 persons including driver Manmohan Singh,50 and his two children besides 5 girl students in dumper going from Karol to Kundi.
Injured have been Identified as:
1/DRIVER MAN MOHAN SINGH S/O SHIV SARAN AGE 50 YRS
2/ SHATRUPA D/O PARDEEP AGE 10 YRS.
3/ KAMLESHA KUMARI D/O DHARAM SINGH AGE 15 YRS.
One referred to GMC Jammu
1/ JYOTI DEVI D/O PRADEEP........ REFERRED TO GMC JAMMU.
Those who died in the accident are:
1/ MANJIT SINGH S/O LEHAR SINGH AGE 7 YRS.
2/ POOJA DEVI D/O PARDEEP AGE 15 YRS
3/ GAURAV SINGH S/O MAN MOHAN SINGH AGE 16 YRS
One youth is missing identified as:
AJAY SINGH S/O MAN MOHAN SINGH AGE. 17 YRS
